Contemporary Istanbul
Contemporary İstanbul, which brings together the best examples of contemporary art with art lovers celebrated its 11th with the support of Akbank in İstanbul Congress Center and Lutfı Kırdar International Congress and Exhibition Centeron 3-6 November. While focusing on contemporary Turkish art; contemporary İstanbul that integrates with the spirit of İstanbul, also hosted the contemporary art throughout the region.
Presenting contemporary works of art from the Middle East, Black Sea countries, Russia, the Balkans, Israel, Iran and Egypt, CI took the position of a fair that appeals to the whole world with its characteristic features built on local identity.
Contemporary İstanbul, where 70 galleries and 520 artists from 20 countries participated in more than 1500 works, has visited an area spreading over 14,000 m2.
